Blue Muse Publishing Announces GraceFlock Midwest Tour

NAPERVILLE, IL. - The contemporary Christian group, GraceFlock, will kick off their Midwest Tour on June 14th, 2009. "The quality of this music is extraordinary, featuring a range of styles and instruments that will resonate with a wide variety of people", says Del Boland of Blue Muse Publishing. GraceFlock performs their music weekly at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City, Georgia. BLUE MUSE PUBLISHING LAUNCHES BMND RADIO

NAPERVILLE, IL. - Blue Muse Publishing, Inc. announced the official launch of Blue Muse Indie Radio or BMND Radio set for May 31st, 2009. According to Jacob Boland, CIO at Blue Muse, "BMND Radio will provide a continuous broadcast of indie music in a variety of genres. Programs will be regularly updated with the latest submissions while songs receiving a lot of interest will remain in heavy rotation. We are seeing a lot of high quality songwriting and performance from independent artists. Production quality is also important, but it is not absolutely necessary to have the polish of a professional studio."

BMND Radio has been in beta for several months, but the station will be officially launched on May 31st with the addition of a special program for top ranked artists. The playlist for this program will be updated weekly based on interest levels for specific artists and specific songs. Currently, there are generalized programs for Pop, Country, Rock, and Eclectic. A podcast program will be added in early June and other genre specific programs will be added as more songs are uploaded. Until new genres are added, the Eclectic program will run at night and will be album sides from a mix of artists playing various genres.

"We are starting to see an increase in listeners even though we are still in beta", says Del Boland. "It is our intent to provide an opportunity for independent artists to gain exposure on BMND Radio. Unfortunately, it is not enough to simply broadcast music online. It is also necessary to launch a campaign to inform the public. I think we will build a respectable following over time through our advertising campaign, quality of music and word of mouth. Ultimately, I believe that folks who are most likely to listen to independent music want a break from mainstream terrestrial radio which tends to be formulaic. I also think these listeners are interested in creativity but they also want to hear quality without so much commercial interruption and talk."

JD WOOD OPENS SHOW FOR PAUL CARRACK AND BRENDAN CROSKERRY ON JUNE 5TH, 2009

JD WOOD RECEIVES 2008 BLUE MUSE PUBLISHING SONGWRITER OF THE YEAR

Singer songwriter JD Wood received the 2008 Blue Muse Publishing Songwriter of the Year Award on January 20th in Naperville, IL.

"JD has the ability to weave memorable melodies into interesting song structures that evoke a variety of emotions for me", explained Del Boland, President and CEO of Blue Muse Publishing. "JD's lyrics are from the heart and should resonate with anyone who has been in a relationship. JD WOOD SHOOTS MUSIC VIDEOS IN NAPERVILLE

Singer songwriter JD Wood was in Naperville January 18th - 21st to shoot music videos for three songs on his upcoming CD entitled, "In My Dreams". JD's music is mostly rock oriented adult contemporary. It is possible, at times, hear similarities to The Fray, Daniel Powter, Harry Connick, Jr., Bon Jovi, and Badfinger while creating a sound that is uniquely JD Wood.

JD WOOD RELEASES "IN MY DREAMS"

Singer songwriter JD Wood's new CD entitled "In My Dreams" will be released March 15, 2009. The music is mostly rock oriented adult contemporary but JD is clearly comfortable infusing several styles into his originals. While most of the songs have certain similarities to artists such as The Fray, Lenny Kravitz, Bon Jovi, and 70's group, Badfinger, there are a few jazzier compositions with similarities to Harry Connick, Jr. Otherwise, the music is uniquely JD Wood, a blend of powerful vocals and well-crafted music.

"After winning the 2008 Blue Muse Publishing Songwriter of the Year award, JD accepted a 3 year contract to produce music for Blue Muse", explains Del Boland. "'In My Dreams' is the first release since signing in October, 2008. JD had a gold record in 1994, but he is reluctant to rest on his past accomplishments. Instead, JD prefers to focus on the future of his music while staying with the times. He is currently playing large venues in Europe".

JD's logo is comprised of the letters "WOE", an abbreviation for "World of Emotion". JD understands the power of emotion and has the unique ability to perform with the very same emotional intensity that comes through on every recorded song. BLUE MUSE INDIE RECORDS LAUNCHED

Blue Muse Publishing, Inc. has launched an indie record label called BMND Records or Blue Muse Indie Records with the release of "In My Dreams" by singer songwriter JD Wood on March 15, 2009.

"The intent is to provide a reasonable alternative for talented artists to help promote and sell their music.
